LTI is monitoring the current public health crisis via the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control. We understand that in-person interpreting may not be possible and are attempting to offer alternate accommodations for as many clients as possible. LANGUAGEtech has provided in-person interpreters for more than 12 years with an average of 10,000 interpreting hours per year. We currently contract with over 60 professional interpreters who cover around 20 different languages.

LANGUAGEtech is one of the most experienced language service companies in the Des Moines area. We started in 1998 and continue to grow! Forrest holds an MBA from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (Barcelona, Spain) and a BS in Finance from Iowa State University. Forrest grew up on a century farm in northeast Iowa and was an agricultural extension Peace Corps volunteer (Costa Rica and Ecuador) in the 1980s.
All of our staff are independent contractors, most out in the field interpreting, others working on scheduling and in other administrative areas. We look for over-the-top customer service, integrity, and initiative in all of our staff. We would like all of our interpreters to view this as a career, their profession, attending conferences, becoming certified, seeking out continuing education opportunities.
