I am so thankful that I found Global Education Group! They made my translation and evaluation process so easy. A good friend who previously used them recommended them to me and I'm so glad they did. Michelle was great to work with and she provided all the information I needed. I would certainly recommend her and Global Education Group to anyone needing a translation and evaluation. Thanks for all your help!

EDIT: Reply to merchant's last response- You do not have a case under my name because it was for a family member and I paid for it. In addition to which I was the one who you spoke to. The review was not done under the family member's name for the exact reason that was mentioned in the review. When we told you that you were wrong in your evaluation and asked for a refund, you threatened us by saying you would not do the refund and if we got approved by another agency you would report us to a certain accrediting body and that family member's credentials would be stripped etc.
While we knew that your claims were baseless and amounted to threats, I will still not risk that family member's name being exposed. Needless to say that person has been accredited and has been working in their respective field. Add to that the fact that there are hundreds of colleagues from that family members educational institution that are working across this country and have been given equivalency status.
In addition to which EVERY other equivalency credentialing agency in this country has said you were wrong in not equating that person's overseas education with the equivalent in America. ========================== Original Review- Utterly unprofessional and fraudulent. We paid for an equivalency eval to be done. Have the appropriate Bachelors and Masters from overseas. M. Birch does the eval and gets back to us much later saying it's not equivalent.
The only. and I mean the ONLY reason we chose her was because she was local. There are several other options across the country. We spoke to her and said that all the requirements were met as were listed by the accrediting body. She went off on us about how she's been doing this for several years and she knows X, Y, and Z at the education board etc etc.
When we tell her that it's accepted by other credentialing agencies, she starts calling 'ALL' of them bogus and says she's the only one who can do it right. A tad bit preposterous don't you think? To say that you are the only one who does it right when all the other companies have been in business for yrs and are widely accepted. We ended up having to pay double to get it all redone at another agency who, in no time said that the Masters degree from overseas was completely equivalent.
When we disputed the charge, she called us threatening us and trying to say that she knows people really high up and she can get us blacklisted etc. Not very professional. I explained to her that every other agency in the country told us everything was in order. Anyway just because we didn't want to deal with her threats and waste time on someone like this, so we just let it go.
Every agency has accepted the equivalency certificate, the education board has accepted it, the National association for this particular specialty has accepted it with no issues at all. Says a lot for this lady who is full of it. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this agency. Maybe they are okay for certain accrediting certain areas of education. But either way just the way it was handled and the arrogance with which it was handled spoke volumes. Stay away and save your money and time.
