Sign Language Interpreting Services is committed to providing quality communication access in the Bryan-College Station area of central Texas. All full-time interpreters working with S.L.I.S are nationally and/or state certified. SLIS is now focusing its efforts on improving its interpreters' skills.
SLIS is dedicated to helping graduates from interpreter training programs who have not yet obtained certification, as well as, certified interpreters who are eager to improve their skills to reach higher levels of certification.

Services
Sign Language Interpreting Services, LLC (SLIS) is owned and operated by Sherri Roberts. Sherri has been interpreting in the Bryan/College Station area of Central Texas for more than 20 years. Sherri Roberts is both state and nationally certified as an interpreter and transliterator for sign language users, and holds a masters degree in educational psychology with an emphasis on consultation. After working with people who are deaf and hard of hearing for many years, Sherri could not keep up with all the interpreting requests on her own.
S.L.I.S. is currently seeking additional certified interpreters in the Bryan/College Station and surrounding areas to work with us to provide quality interpreting services to our clients. As an independent contractor, the interpreter has full control of his/her schedule and works with S.L.I.S. on an assignment-by-assignment basis.
