For Interpreters Report

Resumes are being accepted for positions that may be filled over the next six months. As a job opening becomes available, applicants will be contacted to determine their interest at the time. The Minnesota Language Connection is seeking a detailed oriented professional to work as an Interpreter. The successful candidate must be able to interpret in the three modes of interpretation: sight, consecutive, and simultaneous in medical, social and legal settings in person or via a telecommunicator device.

Ucare Code Of Conduct Report

This letter is to highlight some important requirements for interpreters participating in UCARE's provider network. Interpreters should not steer UCare members to particular medic al, PCA or transportation providers. If interpreters are receiving payments or any items of value from other providers in exchange for encouraging UCare members to use such providers, they are violating federal law and could be prosecuted for committing a crime.

Interpreting Training Report

Two MLC trainers will be empowering our community interpreters with the necessary knowledge in order to provide superb interpreting services. Unit Four is presented according to the needs of the audience. If participants come primarily from one sector (e.g., health care), that sector alone will be discussed during this unit.
