Interpreters Unlimited acquired Albors & Alnet in 2013 in an acquisition that doubled its employees and increased IU's territory and service offerings. Founded in 1988 as a translation and transportation company that focused on providing services for the insurance industry, Albors & Alnet primarily served a Florida-based clientele.
Located in Little Rock, Arkansas Spanish Interpreters & Translators (ASIT) was originally founded as a Spanish translation company. In 2008, Interpreters Unlimited acquired ASIT and today, ASIT operates under the IU Group of companies. Since the acquisition, IU ASIT's service offering expanded to 200 exotic languages in addition to Spanish. Much of IU's translations are managed and executed through the ASIT branch.

After finally getting a hold of a Cambodian interpreter, they immediately state "Sorry we only do medical interpreting" and hung up. I work for an auto accident and personal injury attorneys office. We had our client on the line and needed an interpreter to get an update on his medical care. I wish i had the agents ID number.

Was taken on as an intern and really got to experience the environment in the headquarters. Very easy going and laid back, Shamus and the crew took me in and got me acquainted even though I would be there for a few months, such as my own office space and desk. Great environment to learn from and work for.

I have been using IU for about 8 months now. They are excellent. Great customer service, especially appreciate working with Martha Vazquez. She has been very diligent with following up on billing issues and has provided great support. IU has been helping my company communicate with a family that only speaks Turkish. We provide services to the disabled, so it is really helpful to have good translators who work hard to assist us.
