Services
Language Center International is a private language school established in 1987. From 1987 to early 1989, its classes were only tutorial in nature, and there were no regularly scheduled group classes. In 1992, LCI moved to larger facilities in Southfield, Michigan and in 2015, LCI moved once again to a larger facility, also in Southfield.
Language Center International is dedicated to providing quality English as a Second Language training for academic or personal purposes to speakers of other languages and to promoting both American and global cultural understanding through its educational programs. Learning is more likely to occur when the learner feels relaxed and emotionally connected with the people in his/her learning environment.
To facilitate our students' achievement of measurable progress in communicative language competence together with increasing their cultural awareness and understanding, Language Center International will strive to provide an interactive and stimulating learning environment based on the use of: 1. theoretically sound and up-to-date methodologies; 2. creative instructional practices; 3. current instructional materials which support well-defined learning objectives; 4. technology-related resources and applications; 5. on-going professional development; 6. meaningful assessment tools.
An application fee of $50 U.S. (non-refundable) is required with each Application for Admission. Language Center International accepts cash, personal checks, credit cards, domestic or international money orders. Prepayment of tuition is not required. Completed applications which arrive too late for the chosen session will be processed for the next term.

The Admission and front office ladies have the worst customer service experience treat you like a second class person. They speak to you as if they are not happy that you come to register in their center. front desk left before she finished answering my questions and the front office lady kept working in here laptop like I did not exist
